Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Logistics Operations Manager to oversee both domestic and international freight operations . This role will lead efforts in import/export compliance, customs management, and contract negotiations while driving cost efficiency and operational excellence across the supply chain. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of international trade, bonded warehouses, FTZ operations, and HS codes, with the ability to guide and mentor a logistics team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage domestic and international freight, including import/export compliance, fees, and tariffs.
• Oversee contracts with carriers and negotiate cost-effective freight solutions.
• Reduce reliance on third-party providers by developing direct carrier relationships.
• Provide guidance on HS codes, customs regulations, and warehousing needs.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics costs and improve delivery performance.
• Analyze logistics data, prepare spend projections, and report KPIs to leadership.
• Lead and mentor logistics staff to ensure efficiency and alignment with company goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 15+ years of combined experience in domestic and international logistics.
• Strong background in bonded warehouses, FTZ programs, and customs compliance.
• Proven negotiation, project management, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to proactively drive improvements.
